Yes, you can use LocalXpose for free. The free version allows you to create HTTP/s only tunnels with up to 4 active tunnels at a time. However, each tunnel has a timeout of 15 minutes and displays an interstitial warning page. Also, you can only use a random subdomain with the free version. All plans come with unlimited bandwidth, basic authentication, key authentication, rate limiter, IP whitelisting, edit request & response headers, and a built-in file server.

To sign up for LocalXpose, follow these steps:

1. Signup on the LocalXpose website.
2. Verify your email address by clicking the Verify button in your email inbox.
3. Login to your account, which will redirect you to your dashboard.
4. Copy your access token. Your access token will be under the access tab in your dashboard.
5. Start the client. Double click the downloaded binary, this will open the browser for you to access the GUI version.
6. Login using your access token. Once you access the GUI version through the browser, login using your access token copied from Step 4.

Please note that LocalXpose has two options, Command line (CLI) or Graphical User Interface (GUI), and it is cross-platform (Linux, Windows, MacOS).

Yes, you can use LocalXpose with your own domain name. Here are the steps to do it:

1. Buy a domain name from domain registrars like GoDaddy, DNSimple, Namecheap, etc.
2. Reserve it on LocalXpose after you bought a domain name.
3. Add a CNAME record from your domain registrar's dashboard. Enter the host and value which you reserved from step 2.
4. Verify the CNAME record if it is added correctly from LocalXpose.
5. Start a tunnel using the reserved custom domain name in your tunnel.
